If you want to know what mobiles are currently the must have gadgets, here is a list of the top mobile phones on the market based on sheer sales numbers.
At the top of the list is the heavily toted Apple iPhone 3GS. With faster 3G speeds and processing time if you are unsatisfied with the speed of your 3G it may be a worthwhile upgrade. Beware however that the iPhone 3GS will not increase the speeds of your service if you live in an area with poor signal. Also the upgrade does not offer a large change from the previous model so you may not want to foot the price despite the large sales push from Apple.
The Samsung i8910HD offers a wide touch screen that possibly provides one of the best entertainment systems in a mobile phone yet to hit the market. With a large crisp AMOLED screen and excellent video and recording it is everything you would expect from the entertainment manufacturer. However, the i8910HD does not come equipped with apps like Palm’s or iPhones and the Symbian is much slower compared to the simple iPhone operating system.
The Nokia N97 also ranks at the top of the smartphone list and Nokia is easily a name that most mobile users can recognize and trust. While the QWERTY touch screen is easy to use and large enough to comfortably handle, the response is not what most people come to expect. Also, the operating system is not that user friendly to those who are not familiar with Nokia’s very complex navigational system as compared to other smartphones of comparable value and design.
HTC Touch has been in the market for approximately the same time period of iPhone which is one reason why many people are still choosing it as their top Smartphone choice. It is possibly the best Smartphone to utilize Windows Mobile yet, but does not offer Android which is somewhat disappointing. However, the HTC Touch HD is slim with a very responsive touch screen which is great for those with little patience.
