T-Mobile

For those who want to make full use of their data packages, T-Mobile is globally the largest Wifi Network.  Out of the thousands of hotspots in the world, a good one thousand plus many more on the way exist throughout the UK making it easy to stay current with your email and any other websites that you want to check regularly while on the go.

T-Mobile boasts over 17 million customers in total throughout the UK and is able offer 84% coverage in most locations on its 3G mobile network which is not a small feat for any mobile broadband provider.

While T-Mobile is often considered the mid-range broadband provider for the UK’s top five, it is fairly expensive unless you are willing to sign into a two year commitment which many people are hesitant to do.  However, with broadband speeds that are promised to increase throughout the next year, the commitment may not be such a bad thing.

The option for a 12 month contract is not too horrendous however, as it only includes a surcharge of £9 more for the short term commitment.  You do get a free T-Mobile modem whichever contract you enter however which is a nice perk of the service.

Additionally, T-Mobile has a strict fair usage policy which is reasonably good for those who may go slightly over both their two package offerings of 3GB and 10GB.  The first two times that a customer exceeds their limits they will not be charged, but after a third time they will have to upgrade to a higher mobile package which is a sufficient amount of bandwidth.

As a bonus to those who do not expect to use broadband on a regular basis, T-Mobile also offers a pay as you use option with a mobile contract that entails you purchasing mobile packages each day that you need it at a maximum cost of £4 a day depending on usage.
